Celebrities Who Were Detained For Breaking Custom Laws

Do you know Shahrukh Khan was fined by Government of India? Celebrities like Shahrukh Khan an undisputed king of Bollywood screen who maintains zero crime record have to face shameful conditions just because of their insane acts. Like us they have basic instincts of human nature, like obsession, passion, greed, anger etc. Sometimes they are trapped in obsession and do acts to be fined by custom laws.

Dia Mirza is the latest name in celeb’s list who was fined by the customs. She was carrying luxury particulars including expensive purses and cosmetics from Bangkok to Mumbai. She had to pay penalty to custom officers for undeclared luxury goods though she rejected it in her twits.

Ekta Kapoor was detained to have undeclared goods while she was returning to India from Bangkok. TV soap queen was released after paying penalty of Rs. 50,000 to custom department for her illegal act.

Bold & beautiful Actress Anushka Sharma has passion for jewelry. She was questioned at Mumbai Airport for carrying undeclared jewelry brought with her. She also had to pay penalty.

It seems all actresses has similar obsession for jewelry. All of them were questioned for either luxury goods or jewelry and paid penalty for their thoughtless shopping. Minissha Lamba and Bipasha Basu also joined the wagon in same category and had to pay tax or penalty to get approval for their excessive shopping habits.

Celina Jaitley is quite different. She was detained for abusing airport officer instead carrying some jewelry or luxury goods.

Shahrukh Khan did not buy any luxury yet his family created problems for him by shopping a lot. Before two years he was detailed at New Jersey Airport for being a ‘Khan’ and released after contacting to his political connections.

If Shahrukh’s crime was being a Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh was detained for his fair complexion. Airport officers understood he is not Indian and produced false identity as his skin complexion does not match with Indian genes.
