Bollywood is going places and enchanting peoples across the globe. It is the second largest entertain market of the world leading by Hollywood. It is trying to overpass Hollywood and it seems it would not stop before sweeping the Hollywood completely. ‘Daily Star’, a renowned News agency in UK revealed that MagaMetro Goldwyn Mayer which has the 007 franchise is struggling with financial crisis and is looking for partner to get support.
Apparently Indian company Reliance Big Pictures in ready to bail it out, Anil Ambani (owner of the Indian company) is interested to buy the franchise for a price of $ 1.5 billion (as per rumors) that will be a sound entrance in Hollywood of Reliance. If everything goes in the planned way, Reliance will hold rights of Bond franchise by making a possibility of Bollywood touch in the 007 films. Though the next film in series will be released in next year featuring Daniel Craig, it would be interesting to see the reflection of Hollywood connection with Bollywood.
Anil Ambani wants to set himself as top company of the entertainment industry as he bought a stake in Hollywood’s top director Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Studio and signed deals with most influencing actors including Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Jim Carrey. Besides it, he is also planning to launch new film project soon and James Bond may be first venture of him in global cine industry.
