Top Bollywood Controversial Films of 2011

Controversy is good at least for entertainment industry. Controversy can boost success rates of films despite all odds even there is nothing to objection. It offers full proof publicity by brining you in the limelight. Controversy does not only grab space in headlines but ensures sound success. Bollywood is also an example where every year a few controversial films are produced.

Arakshan
One of the hottest topics in India Arakshan (reservation) is a debated social issue among socio-political communities. Arakshan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai ignites sparkling in the media for its topic. The film Arakshan got controversial attention for its dialogue content exchanged between characters to favor reservation.

Rockstar
Rockstar had nothing to do with controversies but it came in limelight due to shown a banner for ‘Free Tibet’. This was not pre-scheduled as flag appears in a scene shot at public place. Film was also banned for the same reason too in several parts of India.

Ragini MMS
Alike other projects of Ekta Kapoor, Ragini MMS acclaimed much popularity for its sex scenes. It is real life based horror drama film in which producer and director added intimate scene with objectionable languages. To add fuel in the fire, real life girl named Deepika disclose her identity and threatened to take legal action against the film producer & directors.

Delhi Belly
Aamir Khan is known to produce quality films but Delhi Belly proved this theory wrong. According to him film was prepared for youth that’s why it provoked raise eye brows for vulgar dialogues and song ‘Bhag Bhag D.K. Bose’. Film did well on box office and become one of most earned films of 2011.

Not A Love Story
Ram Gopal Verma’s film Not A Love Story unveils the sensational reality of notorious Neeraj Grover’s murder mystery. It was shot in the same place where Neeraj was killed by his lover and lover’s ex-boyfriend. Surprisingly first look was announced on the day the verdict was announced. However controversial publicity could not help to promote the film.
